Having trouble with distant UHF stations on your converter box or digital TV? The Televes DAT 75 was designed specifically to solve the three primary digital television reception problems: Weak Signal, Multipath, Interference.
Bandwidth - 470 to 862 MHz
Gain - >16 dB
Front to Back Ratio - 32 dB
Polarization - Horizontal & Vertical
Length - 72", 1825 mm
Windload - 144 N @80 mph, 198 N @93 mph
This high gain corner reflector 3 Beam Yagi-Uda design has been perfected by Televes for digital reception where digital TV has been on the air for many years, not a just a recent development like in the USA. There's a reason why if you travel through Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, that you'll see the DAT 75 aerial everywhere.
We have tested the DAT 75 throughout the United States under all conditions with many, many receivers, not just in the backyard or in the idealized environment of computer simulations, like some of the info you'll find online. We are free to sell and install any model and any brand.
With clients that include the heads of the world's most well-known corporations, the Saudi Royal Family, and obsessive Videophiles, the DAT 75's quality and performance has made it our #1 choice in fringe locations, and when high gain is required for long wire runs or multiple displays.
As you probably know, there are many factors to obtaining good reception. The DAT 75 delivers a sculpted commercial quality 10-year+ package with gross gain figures similar to the Blake JBX21 (our 2nd favorite next to the DAT 75, but unfortunately subject to sag and corrosion), the Channel Master 4228 (clunky, heavy, high windage), and the AntennasDirect XG91 (cheap in more ways than one).
Other, less substantial antennas will perform similarly initially. But over time, as wind, ice, snow, large birds, UV radiation, heat, chimney fumes, etc. take their toll, your DAT 75 will continue to perform at the top of its category, when the competitors are sagging, broken, misdirected, and ineffective. Installing a DAT 75 will give you many years of trouble-free service! How often do you want to re-adjust, repair, or replace your antenna?
The DAT 75 is the only high gain antenna design that includes 2 cast
alloy mast clamps that enable you to precisely adjust DIRECTION and
TILT. When just a quarter inch will change reception quality, this can
give you the advantage you need to receive difficult signals simply
unattainable with other rigs, or to give you a greater margin against
drop-out or interference. Other manufacturers use a cheap stamped metal
clamp with teeth that will round off easily. This type of crude clamp
does not permit you to adjust tilt, or it is just a stamped thumbscrew
that will strip in short order. Tilt enables you to optimize your
reception in low spots, near hills and large buildings, to avoid
interference, to avoid air traffic that causes momentary pixelization,
and to get above or below dense trees.
Do not miss out on the absolute finest picture and sound your system can reproduce, with no compression, straight from the broadcast tower! Get ALL the sub-channels, including the all the ones that satellite and cable will never carry. Get distant out-of-market sports, education, news, and entertainment broadcasts.
Utilize a UHF/VHF band separator to add the DAT 75 to your existing VHF or VHF/UHF combination to get dramatically improved, highly directional, UHF reception on the same coaxial downlead.
Utilize a Hybrid Coupler to add the DAT 75 to your existing antenna rig for UHF reception in a different direction, for better channel surfing, without need for a rotor.
For: Residential, Commercial, MATV, Long Life, Extreme Exposure
