Insert only a specific channel from an auxiliary or add-on antenna. If you are having difficulty with a particular station, often adding a dedicated antenna solely for that one channel, can get good results utilizing a JoinTenna. The JoinTenna notches out that particular frequency on the main antenna (to avoid multipath) and inserts the band-passed signal from the dedicated antenna. The notch has fairly wide shoulders so it may impact immediately adjacent channels. The JoinTenna is also good for knocking down a specific channel that may be overpowering your antenna preamp, distribution amp or tuner. |
